#BlackLivesMatter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer. Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes. By combating and countering acts of violence, creating space for Black imagination and innovation, and centering Black joy, we are winning immediate improvements in our lives. As a result, the sow sisters believe that in order to make a difference within the communities; we have to create that path for change it.

Foundation| Each Mind Matters
Each Mind Matters is California’s Mental Health Movement. There are millions of individuals and thousands of organizations working to advance mental health. The mental health movement certainly didn’t start with them, but Each Mind Matters was created to unite everyone who shares a vision of improving mental health and equality. Every day, millions of people face stigma related to mental health because they or their loved ones are facing a challenge. Many of these people feel isolated and alone, going years before receiving any help. Each Mind Matter goal is to amplify the voices of all people who want to put an end to this stigma, creating a community where everyone feels comfortable reaching out for the support they deserve.

Delta Epsilon Nu Sorority Incorporated believes that everyone deserves a right to earn an education within the Second Life community. In addition, this scholarship was founded to better those wishing to get an education on Second Life. Each year, we will select a couple of users from the applications to give scholarships to.

Foundation | childhood cancer
The American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO) was founded in 1970 by parents of children diagnosed with cancer. Formerly known as Candlelighters, ACCO is the nation’s oldest and largest grassroots organization dedicated to childhood cancer. Did you know childhood cancer is the number one disease killer of children and is the leading cause of death for children between the ages of 4 and 14 in the United States? ACCO is determined to change these statistics and make childhood cancer a national health priority by shaping policy, supporting research, raising awareness, and providing educational resources and programs to children with cancer, childhood cancer survivors, and their families. Over the past 50 years, ACCO has supported more than half a million families because kids can’t fight cancer alone®.
